Let's take a trip back in time to the the glory days of British Engineering and the height of youth bauderie - 1940's 50's and 60's when bikes were plenty and fashion was classic.
Late summer 2015.
I got a call from Royal Enfield here in England. They are now - as is well known - an Indian owned company and command a huge audience there and sell more bikes in Asia than the UK, USA and European markets combined but here they are struggling to make a breakthrough.
They wish to try something new and would like a Virtual Tour of their "stand" at Goodwood revival. Well, it's more than a gazebo on a trackside field. There is a whole street, streets even constructed for the 3 day revelry of all things retro and RE have built post WW2 era motorcycle shop with a 40's service area, a 50's sales desk and a 60's showroom selling their latest 21st Century bikes.
Well, let the pictures do the talking as they say.
